Acoustic guitar virtuoso Daniele Bazzani from Italy has chosen to use ElixirŪ Strings. Daniele works in co-operation with Chitarre magazine, www.fingerpicking.net, and is the co-author of the 'Grande Enciclopedia della Chitarra e dei Chitarristi'. He is recognised for his transcriptions, for example the Tommy Emmanuel's CD "Only" together with the likes of Michael Hedges, Leo Kottke, Chet Atkins, Jerry Reed and Merle Travis.
Daniele's first acoustic guitar CD ' Truss Roads' has received critical acclaim as one of the finest cd's for acoustic guitar music for this year. He has held clinics at the ADGPA convention of Sarzana and Soave on the guitar styles of Chet Atkins and Jerry Reed. His participation at the 2001 CAAS meeting gave him the opportunity to open the 19th edition of CAAS in 2003. Daniele is currently performing with Kozmic Blues together with vocalist Gina Fabiani. His tour commitments include working live with Mimmo Locasciulli. In July 2004 he will be the only italian playing at Nashville's CAAS.
